1965 Chevrolet T60 Tilt Cab — a flat-illustration portrait by Drawn to Detail Studio

Cab-over delivery truck

1965 Chevrolet T60 Tilt Cab

The city streets of the ’60s were exceedingly narrow, and normal long-nose tractor trailers were kings on the highways but struggled to navigate city streets. The Chevrolet T60 solved the last-mile problem by tucking the box truck’s engine under the cab, effectively shortening the truck and giving drivers a panoramic view of the road. Now, drivers could clearly see the curbs they were hugging and the corners they were clearing. The T60 changed the game and did it all with style and ease.
